Apocalypse Now o la Fabricación del Paraíso
Hay paraísos que existen únicamente porque alguien los nombró.
Desde la idea del Edén hasta la invención de América como territorio prístino y disponible, Apocalypse Now propone una reflexión sobre las ficciones que han dado forma a nuestra relación con la naturaleza, el paisaje y el territorio. Lejos de entender la devastación ambiental como un accidente, la exposición examina cómo las promesas de progreso, abundancia y utopía han sido también mecanismos de apropiación, explotación y transformación del mundo.
Reuniendo obras de 11 artistas fundamentales del arte colombiano contemporáneo, la muestra aborda las tensiones entre ecología, memoria, violencia, colonialismo, extractivismo y resistencia, invitando a pensar el presente desde aquello que persiste entre la historia y el paisaje.
Some paradises exist only because someone gave them a name.
From the myth of Eden to the invention of the Americas as a pristine and available territory, Apocalypse Now reflects on the fictions that have shaped our understanding of nature, landscape, and land. Rather than viewing environmental devastation as an accident, the exhibition examines how promises of progress, abundance, and utopia have also functioned as mechanisms of appropriation, exploitation, and transformation.
Bringing together works by 11 leading Colombian contemporary artists, the exhibition explores the intersections of ecology, memory, violence, colonialism, extractivism, and resistance, inviting us to reflect on the present through what endures between history and landscape.

El Salón de Proyectos presenta El volumen que la luz tocó, la nueva exposición individual de Dámaxo Henao.
A través de pinturas de puertas que permanecen cerradas —sin cerraduras ni manijas—, Henao convierte la arquitectura cotidiana en un espacio de contemplación y misterio. La luz se vuelve el único visitante posible: revela superficies, modela los volúmenes y transforma fachadas comunes en escenarios de una intimidad inaccesible.
Con una mirada atenta a aquello que sucede cuando la luz roza la materia, sus pinturas invitan a detenerse ante esos espacios que habitamos sin terminar nunca de conocer.
The Project Room presents The Volume That Light Touched, a new solo exhibition by Dámaxo Henao.
Through paintings of doors that remain permanently closed—without locks or handles—Henao transforms everyday architecture into a space of contemplation and mystery. Light becomes the only possible visitor, revealing surfaces, shaping volumes, and turning ordinary façades into scenes of inaccessible intimacy.
With keen attention to what happens when light grazes matter, these paintings invite us to pause before spaces we inhabit without ever fully knowing them.
