Abra Caracas cumple nueve años. Nueve años de arte, de encuentros, de resistencia y de belleza. En un país donde crear es un acto de valentía, este espacio ha sido testigo y cómplice de innumerables expresiones contemporáneas que desafían el tiempo y la incertidumbre.
El nueve es un número de ciclos y plenitudes, el último antes del retorno al inicio. Es la espiral que se cierra para abrirse de nuevo, la madurez que aún guarda la frescura del asombro.
Nueve años han pasado desde que Abra Caracas extendió su territorio de luz y rebeldía en la ciudad. Para convertirse en un espacio para el arte contemporáneo, para las voces jóvenes que insisten en crear, en soñar y en transformar, en un refugio y un manifiesto, un gesto de resistencia en un país donde persistir es ya una forma de arte.
En sus paredes han crecido imágenes, diálogos y provocaciones. Cada muestra ha sido un latido en la piel de Caracas, un trazo más en el gran mural del presente. Porque el arte no solo observa la realidad, la reinventa, la cuestiona y la redime.
Felicitaciones a Luis Romero, quien con su visión y compromiso ha hecho de Abra Caracas un hogar para el arte y la creación, igualmente a todo el equipo que lo acompaña en esta travesía y a cada artista que ha dejado su huella en esta sala, gracias por alimentar con su obra este espacio de encuentro y belleza.

Abra Caracas turns nine years old. Nine years of art, encounters, resistance, and beauty. In a country where creating is an act of bravery, this space has been a witness and accomplice to countless contemporary expressions that defy time and uncertainty.
Nine is a number of cycles and fulfillment, the last before returning to the beginning. It is the spiral that closes to open again, the maturity that still holds the freshness of wonder.
Nine years have passed since Abra Caracas extended its territory of light and rebellion in the city. A space for contemporary art, for young voices that insist on creating, dreaming, and transforming. A refuge and a manifesto, a gesture of resistance in a country where persistence is already a form of art.
On its walls, images, dialogues, and provocations have grown. Each exhibition has been a heartbeat on the skin of Caracas, another stroke on the great mural of the present. Because art does not only observe reality; it reinvents, questions, and redeems it.
